Alberto “Nick” Bolettieri, is an Italian multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and conductor, born in Milan. He has numerous concert and recording collaborations with great names of the international music scene in the field of jazz and pop music, including Nina Zilli, Marco Mengoni, Giuliano Sangiorgi, La Crus, Ennio Morricone, Armando Trovajoli, Paolo Fresu to name a few. Between 2010 and 2014, he held the role of principal trumpet in the orchestra accompanying the major Broadway musical shows, including Grease, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, playing in Paris theatres and more. In addition to the concert field, he is engaged in the didactic field with the teaching of theory and music.
GIORGIA SANTORO (Italy) graduated with honors in FLUTE from the Conservatory “T. Schipa” in Lecce, under the guidance of Maestro Salvatore Stefanelli, and in JAZZ (with top marks) under the guidance of Maestro Luigi Bubbico. She also specialized in PICCOLO (with honors) with Maestro Giuseppe Contaldo at the “Morlacchi” Conservatory in Perugia. She obtained a Level II Academic Diploma in JAZZ MUSIC (with 110) under the guidance of Maestro Gianni Lenoci at the “N. Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli and a Level II Academic Diploma in Instrument Teaching, AG77 FLUTE qualification class (with a grade of 100/100 with honors), at the “N. Rota” Conservatory in Monopoli. Roberto Gagliardi began playing the saxophone in 1975. He played with various bands in Salento at the time, eventually joining the legendary Band-Aid, with whom he recorded three albums. He studied in Bologna with Giorgio Baiocco and Rudi Trevisi and in Rome at the Testaccio jazz school.
He has been teaching saxophone since 1985.
