Art Curator

Dores Sacquegna was born in 1970. Currently lives and works in Lecce, Italy. She is a visual arts writer, artist, art collector and independent curator.

Since 2004, in addition to work as an artist, she  worked as curator of Primo Piano LivinGallery and she has being involved in the organization of exhibitions internationally including:AMACI, Italian Contemporary Art Museums; Future Pass 54° Venice Biennal; CCCB Centre de Cultura Contemporanea in Barcelona, Spain; Olympic Fine Arts Museum in Beijing, China; Foundation Saatchi & Saatchi in New York; Italian Art Fair Dubai to name just a few.

She written for national and international editions and publications as Charta Book Usa, Bhea, Carlo Cambi.  She curated three major exhibitions of visionary art with artists such as: Matthew Barney, Erwin Olaf, Vito Acconci, Living Theatre, Hermann Nitsch, Matteo Basilè, Francesco  Arena, Giovanni Albanese, Edoardo Winspeare  and many more.
